Since the year 2000 until 30th June 2007, 53% which is 1,419 out of 2,679 of government agencies have been identified (having a complete data) as eP enabled, 1,175 government agencies are from Peninsular Malaysia and 244 are from Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan. It is expected all government agencies will be eP enabled by the end of 2009.

ePerolehan training to government users have been conducted into the cooperation of INTAN and also under the sponsership of the respective government users. Until 30th June 2007, there are a total of 7,981 government users who have been trained to use the ePerolehan system. Since November 2006, 23 training session and a complete Mandatory Handholding had been conducted for 303 government agencies. ePerolehan system involved into five types of roles which is System Administrator, Requisitioner, Approver, Goods Received Officer (GRO) and Payment Match Officer (PMO). Each government agency is estimated to have a minimum of five users and with a maximum nine users that needs to be trained with respect to the roles. For each role, there are two users who need to be trained while for the role of System Administrator , only one user is sufficient . Therefore on the average, each PTJ is expected to have five users that need to be trained.

Beside training in INTAN, Mandatory Handholding and extended handholding session are also conducted for government users which involved live transaction at the respective government agencies site office. There are 75 Mandatory Handholding and extended handholding session that have been carried out for 497 government agencies ( from the year 2006 until 30th June 2007.

MHH And Enablement Organised By Ministries / Government Agencies

1. Mandatory Handholding (MHH) For Government Agencies Of Ministry of Finance (MOF)

A total of three MHH had been conducted which involved 19 government agencies and 70 participants. The MHH has been conducted at Accountant general Office of Kuching, Sarawak from 4th June until 9th June 2007. The MHH was participated by 25 users representing seven government agencies.

MHH also had been conducted from 18th June until 21st June 2007 at Accountant General Office of Sibu, Sarawak. The MHH was participated by 20 users representing five government agencies. MHH also had been conducted from 26th June until 29th June 2007 at Accountant General Office of Miri, Sarawak. The MHH was participated by 25 users representing seven government agencies.

2. Mandatory Handholding (MHH) For Government Agencies Of Ministry of Internal Security (MOIS)

A total of two MHH had been conducted which involved 25 government agencies and 77 users. The MHH was held on 12th June and 13th June 2007 at Cosmopoint Technology College Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The MHH was attended by 35 users representing 12 government agencies. The MHH also had been conducted on 26th June and 27th June 2007 at Maktab Kerjasama Malaysia, Sarawak. The MHH was attended by 42 users representing 13 government agencies.

3. Mandatory Handholding (MHH) For Government Agencies Of Prime Minister Office in Sarawak

A number of two MHH was held which involved 215 users from 57 government agencies. The MHH was held on 12th June and 13th June 2007 at Holiday Inn, Kuching Sarawak.. The MHH was attended by 100 users representing 27 government agencies. MHH also had been conducted from 26th June until 29th June 2007 at Beverly Hotel, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The MHH was attended by 115 users representing 30 government agencies.

4. Mandatory Handholding (MHH) For PTJ Under Ministry of Transport

MHH was held on 14th June and 15th June 2007 at Jabatan Laut Sarawak, Kuching, Sarawak. The MHH was attended by 27 users representing nine government agencies.
